I love my university.

Since I was nine years old, I knew in some capacity that I was meant to go to the University of Wisconsin-Madison while standing outside of the Kohl Center with my father and promising him I would do my best to get accepted.

I've been going here for a year now and for undergraduate, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

Exactly.

Honestly, this is when you fire your advertisements editor. The same person previously caught flack earlier this year for our shout-outs section where they allowed a rape joke to pass by and caught a giant shitstorm for it.

But the fact they refuse to take responsibility for it tells me not only will that not happen, but they're relishing in this reaction because it gives them readers.

The Badger Herald is just infuriating and an example of what journalism is going to be.

Uh...Wow.

I mean leaving freedom of speech aside, newspapers/Tv stations kinda set the tone for themselves by who they take money from. I guarantee you that Planned Parenthood will not have any ads on Fox because that station doesn't want to be associated with them. Advertising isn't freedom of speech, it's advertising. It's meant to advertise a product or an idea. Your newspaper is advertising hate. Even if 95 percent of people 'know better', there are 5 percent who don't. Even if they only convince one person to buy into this, they have convinced someone to buy into hate.

The fact this is over 75 dollars is also kind of disheartening. I mean way to cheapen your paper, guys. I'm not saying any price should have allowed this but come on. What are they going to buy? An Xbox game?
