^_^ The Master and Margarita is one of my favorite books ever. Ah, wait until you get about halfway through! ^^ I wouldn't say anything is unnecessary, exactly, but something doesn't really need to be vital to the plot itself to be a vital part of the book. . .Can you tell me which parts you mean? ^^;;

Ah, well, my other favorite two books are The Last Unicorn, and Jane Eyre, which we've discussed, and I think you'd enjoy both. I'm reading both The Thirteenth Tale and Crime and Punishment now, and enjoying the two of them very much. I also just started a series of murder mysteries by Dorothy Sayers (The Lord Peter Wimsey books), and the first one wass snarky and witty and light-hearted and altogether fantastic.

Have fun with Behemoth Woland The Master and Margarita!

That's true with the non-vital to plot things to be a vital part of the book, but I'm just not a fan of unnecessary rambling. Although, like I said, some of it is probably also having to do with later plot devices so it's probably me just being impatient.

As far as examples go, I'll have to go back and pick out the specific lines, but it's just a little tic I've noticed of a lot of Russian writers (Dostoevsky in The Brothers Karamazov and Nabokov in Lolita are who I'm referring to mostly).

I'll have to look at the other two, though. So far I am enjoying Master and Margarita so I'll be trustful of your literary judgment. :*

My boyfriend says (with great emotion) that the last episode of "Soul Eater" really, really sucks.So I am passing the warning onto you! :P

I started the Master and the Margarita last summer, but never finished it-tell me if you like it or not.

I just watched it and what the fuck was that.

So far, I'm enjoying it. I've got a lot to go yet, but I generally really like it at this point (granted, I'm only 6 chapters in.)
