I'm divorcing your ass, English department.
For the past three weeks, I've been battling it out with the English department on two fronts: my American Lit. discussion section change and English 633: American Lit. Since 1914.
The discussion section change in the scheduling system right now is supposedly under review from the Registrar, meaning that my TA asked them how I can switch into her ( Read more... ) -

Right now, I have nothing but frustration and irritation towards UW-Madison's English department; moreover, my ENGL 217 (American Literature) professor and TA ( Read more... ) -
oh boy oh boy!
I managed to get a 4.0 for the summer semester. Granted, it was only two classes at 6 credits total so I won't get Dean's List or anything like that, but it's still an accomplishment for me since I haven't been able to do that since 8th grade.

Today, I saw a five year old girl drag her three year old sister around on a harness leash at the Henry Vilas Zoo while trying to do primate behavioral analysis. I think I got more than I bargained for.

I've decided to declare Anthropology after all. I've decided I really like the class that I'm in right now and whether or not it's Medical Anthropology or Primatology I decide to learn more about--I'll enjoy it.
