Just finished reading everything so far in this 'verse, and I'm really enjoying it. I like all the way it's AU--not just Dean mute, but Mary surviving, Mary having powers and being one of YED's special kids, Sam being different, Sam and Dean having a family growing up. And yet Dean is still persistent and focused on hunting, still determined to protect his family despite his handicap, and Sam is still fierce and powerful and concerned for his brother's emotional well-being. I also love that Dean still manages to be a social person, good with people despite his handicap, though it does make things very, very difficult for him. Really, really wonderful
