Thanks! I knew from early on that the key alteration in this AU -- John dying in the fire instead of Mary -- would be due to something small and prosaic. I didn't quite realize till working on this piece that it would have quite so much to do with Dean.

A satisfying conclusion to an amazing story. I love how you related everything in this alternate timeline back to events from the original timeline. And the boys' talk at the end was priceless. It felt so right.
