Ahhh!! I'm DONE with my theory paper!!! :) Well, at least for the summer. I still have to add my personal epistemology and a conclusion for my practicum V class, but until then, it's DONE!! YAAAAY! :)

Yesterday I got my first ever speeding ticket. Not that I didn't deserve it ... I was going 73 in a 60. However, the officer was really nice and not demeaning, which helped. He also only wrote me down for going 65, which reduced the cost by a lot. I still had to pay $93 though, which is not cool. However, I'm looking at this in a positive light.

Today will consist of:
- Going to the gym
- Coming back and getting ready for the day
- Turning in the rent check
- Picking up Josh's textbooks for his once-a-week class
- Dropping off said textbooks to him and meeting him for lunch in downtown (parking = terrible)

It's almost September - many people are wondering where the summer went. I am wondering if it will ever start. I still have to edit my theory paper, due on the 9th. Once it is done perhaps I will feel a shred of summer? I feel like I will never experience a real summer again, which I guess is all right considering last summer was probably the best ( Read more... )

I feel that over the last few days I have been different. It's pretty clear why - Josh is in Michigan with his family for 9 days and I am here... alone. I've never spent so much time by myself before; part of me likes it and part of me hates it with a fiery passion. - October 2, 2009 - 1 year until my and Josh's wedding
- The rainy season in Seattle
- December - buying my wedding dress, seeing family, Christmas time
- New Year's 2010 - the year that brings many wonderful changes
- May 22 - the day my cousin gets married
