The past few months have been wonderful. My courses are really impressive and fun. I really have a love/hate relationship with my newswriting course. I want to network in college, but its difficult when you have to interview people for a paper that you don't get to read over the editors changes of your articles before they are published. At Winona State there is a club called "National Broadcasting Society". I wanted to be part of that club merely because I should. Well I went to the website where in bold letters it says meetings at 5pm in Minne Hall room 110. Today, at 8:30am I went to my first class for the semester. I really can't believe winter break is over and that it went by so fast, but, after all that time doing nothing, I realized I missed the sense of purpose that school gives me. Here I sit in the new study area in my little corner with a text book open, that I'm not looking at, some candy wrappers from a previous meal on a couch that is decievingly uncomfortable. Life is like being crushed by a big stack of text books while my cell phone is ringing off the hook and my computer keeps blinking with messages. I live without planning for just a week and life just collapses on top of me.
