So yeah, despite not walking around barefoot outside, I somehow managed to get poison ivy on my foot. Again. I'm starting to wonder if there isn't a little poison ivy gnome attacking my feet at night. Oh well

the poison ivy oils might be in your socks, and if you're not wearing socks then on the inside of your shoes it can also spread to your feet when you sit barefoot inside if the oils are on your clothes... but if you're a seasoned poison ivy veteran, then I'm sure you know all this by now.
Poison Ivy oils can stay active in clothing or soils for years, you may have a sock or shoe that has it on it. Also if you have any outdoor pets, they can get it on their fur and bring it in, another potential source of contamination.

Pretty much yep. Oils in clothes, the shoes. Saltwater and chlorinated water are both good ways to get your skin back to normal. Might be a good idea for a wash load too. Now to just add "Submit" to the user's Active Vocabulary....
