I called the school today but the woman wasn't there, so I left a message. I figured I would just call again Monday. However, she called me back a few hours later. I have an interview on Wednesday. Today when I got home there was a message on the machine. A school is interested in setting up an interview with me. There are ups and downs to it, of course. The up side is that it’s a 6th grade position (the exact age group I want to work with) and apparently the town has really good benefits. For those who don't know, Oreo is one of my cats. I picked her out when I was 5 or 6. My mom wanted a different cat, but I stuck to my guns and we got Oreo instead. She quickly became my mom's favorite, and one of the best cats we've ever had. She was just very loving and caring.

So this semester is well under way, and I’m back behind the desk and a student again. I really miss being the one in the front of the room.
