I wonder how many people realize that political ads are exempt from Truth in Advertising laws.  About the only thing you can sue a political ad over is Libel...or perhaps copyright infringement.

Sometimes, you just have to know where to go.

The Pride Parade in Baltimore was disappointing compared to years past, I mean where were the lesbians on stilts?  Or as my friend Joe liked calling them, "Chicks on Sticks."  Also, there wasn't any music or bands playing during the parade.  But I forgive Baltimore because the street festival/party is far better than the corporate/political ( Read more... )

Town, the bar, is hosting a Goth Prom.  And not that it is in anyway a bad thing but, it seems they are clearly marketing this event to everyone.  Am I mistaken? 

At first, I felt it was a bit unfair the way the media was characterizing her.  But, around about the time of Geraldine Ferraro's asinine comment, I started to hate her and her campaign.  If he doesn't get the nomination, I am tempted to start a write in campaign.
