Ever get that thing where someone's just so fucking nit-picky and critical and bitchy and annoying and depressing that you just can't talk to them? I'm getting that with my dad right now. I'm glad he left for a little while to "do some research and commune with God." I really need someone to talk to. I miss talking to Kate sometimes.

I'm now about halfway through my second read of Perks. I don't know what is making me so attached to this book. I guess it's sort of my Catcher in the Rye like Bill said it's a book you make "your own." So much of it is reminding me of my own life.
