Is it spring break yet?

I am really not enjoying my math class. Big surprise, eh? (I decided to add the little Canadian-speak for all the hosers out there in recognition of their glory) Test two is in ten days. Which means I have ten days to master polynomials and logarithmic function. Fun ( Read more... )

I'm assuming you're missing the word "mom" there. Lucky, my mother CONSTANTLY wants me to go to Canada. Even in February.

Yes. Rochus even told me I left it out after I had shut down my computer for the night.

If it's not something you want to do, why do it? The point of vacation is to enjoy the time off, no?

I'm sure you'll see me post about how much I hate statistics when I start my next quarter of classes.

I want to see so much, that even plan B or C is still a good option for a vacation.

Are all your classes online? I'm taking online courses this summer and I'm a bit worried about the lack of interaction and just not having the discipline to sit down and watch.

All of my classes are online, and requires a lot of focus on my part, since I think I have ADD. It's mostly weekly readings, online postings, and homework assignments. There's also an ongoing group paper project.

There are video lectures that I don't bother watching, since they just verbalize the information that's already in the readings, at least in my one class.

Fuck that, I'd go to europe. Money - you can't take it with you when you die!

You have to remember I am dealing with the German mindset of extreme thrift. Plus, I am living with a mathematician. Those two combined into one, leads to savings above all else.

Yeah, I tried playing scrabble last night and realized that you actually needed to be online! Haha. So, stupid of me. Anyway, I'd love to play scrabble again. It was a lot of fun all those years ago.

The Scrabble game you started allows us to play when the other is offline.

Ah. But, it would take forever playing one word at a time! :) But, still will give it a try.

No one really likes math -- even mathematicians only enjoy the pain mathematics inflict on the rest of us; they are all esssentially sadists.

Don't tell Rochus I said that!
