I watched an incredible movie this afternoon. Romeos is the story of a pre-operative transgendered female to male trying to cope with his sexuality in a communal setting. My search is over. I accepted a position in Louisiana over the weekend. It pays roughly what I was making in Norfolk, but the important thing is that I am employed again.

I appreciate all of the support that I have received here.

It's been a rough morning. I had to put my cat down. She was 13 years old and had developed a heart murmur and was in kidney failure. I know it was the right thing to do, but it still hurts. I miss her.

The Albemarle Sound region of North Carolina is the home to a number of incredible historic sites. Proximity to the Historic Triangle region of Hampton Roads, however, means that its history is often overlooked. I wanted to spend today visiting some of these sites, however.
