Las Vegas 2009 edition
We have returned from Las Vegas in record time. Thanks to leaving at 5 AM, and a general lack of traffic along the way, it took just 5 hours and 15 minutes for the drive. It's a Bore!
I am dumbfounded as to how "Gigi" won the Best Picture Oscar for 1958. No, it was not a horrible movie. But, was it a great movie? No. Certainly, not one worthy of Hollywood's top honor. Huh?
I don't seem to have it in me to actually make a coherent post. So, here are a few observations based on posts I've read, what I'm thinking and what I've watched on tv.
- I've never had egg nog.
- I haven't really enjoyed the first two episodes of season 3 of the Sarah Jane Adventures. At least, K-9 is back.

What is wrong with my mother's computer?
Trying to explain to my mom how to get her webcam to work with Skype is taking years off my life. At least, she can see me and I can hear her. Which I can't understand since she is using her webcam as a microphone as well. The worst part is that it worked at one point. I could see and hear her when I was in New Zealand ( Read more... ) -

It's never fun to get into an argument with your other half. Especially, over something as trivial as what we fought about over the phone. I hope he has forgotten about my pushiness to get him to do something to find out about the tuition benefit. It is worded so oddly, that we have no idea if it even is a benefit if you are full time student. ( Read more... )
