This weekend was very eventful! I had all of my belongings moved into the papal apartment (they finally got my seal up on the walls) and after a bit of arranging it's starting to feel a bit like home. Remember that journalist meeting I mentioned on Friday? That happened on Saturday, and guess what? Several thousand members of the print and electronic media arrived to hear me speak. I finally got around to visiting the official papal apartments in the Apostolic Palace, where I promptly removed all of the JP2 seals from the walls. The seal of the Holy Father Benedict XVI will be arriving soon, so I am told. In the meantime I prefer staying in the apartment of the Domus Sanctae Marthae ( Read more... )

I decided to stop by my old residence in Rome last night, where I was greeted by thousands of Pope lovers who wanted a peek. It's fun to put my hands up and have everyone cheer for me.
