I went to yoga today. It was awesome. I've been surprised and delighted to find that although I have not been doing a lot of yoga practice lately, every time I do I am noticeably more flexible. 125 lbs? Jeez, *I* could probably fly you! :)

I can totally believe that the dietary change is doing you good; nutrition can have a huge effect on everything you do. I'd probably be sparring with Tony Jaa by now, if I ate better. ;) Happy changes!

1. There were times either toward the beginning of our relationship or before where I was going much more often and consistently. For while I went 5 days a week at 8am. I did not show as much progress then as now.

2. False. I've done acro 1 or 2 times per month since I've been here, as opposed to going to partner acro class almost every Monday, which is a much more intense class.

3. Agreed, and the diet is part of that.

4. Yes, but that does nothing to explain why now rather than at other times.

I'm not necessarily saying it IS due to diet, but I'm not discounting it either. I'm more inclined to believe something though when it happens despite my own skepticism.

1. But was your form as good or as correct? Doing something frequently doesn't help nearly as much as doing something in good form. There's also a cumulative effect at work: just because you're finally seeing effects now doesn't mean that the effort in the past was completely ineffective ( ... )

Knee issues are still present, but generally haven't been troubling me much. I think climate and biking help.

well, whatever the cause(s), congratulations! that's awesome. and that IS a lot of weight to lose for someone your size. you must have like, 4% body fat now.
