I've spent so much time inside my own head lately that I've almost forgotten how to converse with other people. I dodge phone calls and delete voicemails without listening to them first. I honestly wouldn't be surpised if she did. Which makes me glad that there's only a small handful of words in her vocabulary. I'm probably going to have to stop spilling my heart out to her when she's two and can repeat everything I say, though.

There's a joke to be made about getting out of your head and getting some head, but I can't even make it because of your whole tone in this. I think or hope or whatever that you already know that I'll listen if you feel like talking, and if you want, I won't even reply with more than Violet does.

But seriously, I think it's all a matter of perception. One person's crisis is another's day to day life.
