I already shared the good news on Twitter the other day, but I just wanted to repeat it here for those who don't follow me there: my US visa petition has finally been approved by the USCIS and I should be receiving all the paperwork by Friday or Monday and then next Tuesday I'll be headed to my local US embassy for the visa interview. Then your mission (if you should choose to accept it) is to find a suitable bar or coffee shop (whichever you prefer) while settling into NYC. I will also offer to bring you something from London in May. ^_~

Thank you! :) The office is on Times Square so commuting there should be rather easy.

I've always really liked the Upper East and West Side, but I'm also open to other neighborhoods. Last time, I lived in West Midtown and found it a little too busy at times though.

I have a friend living in the Upper East Side and always liked it just fine. But there's something charming and maybe more relaxing about the UWS that simply attracts me more. I'm definitely looking into a share that is not more than three people (myself included). It'll be hard enough to downsize from my own 1 bedroom apartment to a shared apartment. I don't need to share with 4 others. *g*
