I'm not trying to say that you should seek out people you thought were jerks all the time, or that you should constantly be wading through the human crap trying to get to the creme-filled center. More, I'm addressing the fact that lately a lot of people I've been talking to base their entire social existance around these stereotypes, some to the point of almost outright rejecting friends if they happen to socially shift a little to the side, just because they don't understand the why of their friends' decisions. It's things like this that make me irate ( ... )
