Yeah, I'm a bit cut about failing electromag, but not overly. I'll just do it again and hopefully romp through it.
What CS units are you thinking of doing? I hear that concurrent is a load of old bollocks, and AI and Logic, while quite good is mostly formal logic. Bernard wanted to do Neural, but it wasn't offered last year. In the end, I chose Functional and Neural, that should be it for CS units.
I have a similar complaint about CS, where the degree involves two really easy years with no content so to speak and one year with really interesting stuff, and not enough space to do it.
You can see what I've enrolled for in my LJ. I love the new Amazon feel the online enrollment system has picked up.
I failed Electromagnetics and Electromechanics the first time.
I didn't go to any lectures and studied based on the tutes. I could do all the tutes except for the last one, so I thought "Oh well, Guess there will be a couple of questions I can't do."
I only completed one third of the exam questions. 2nd time around, I knew I needed to know the Motor and Generator bits and did OK :)
