car fixed. i hope. had to pull out 8 bulbs, 1 dimmer switch, part of my stereo, 8 screws, 5 plastic panels, 2 light assemblies, and went through about 10 fuses to isolate the problem. at least it was sunny and i was outside. too bad i'm days behind at work while trying to get a raise because of shit like this.

• 0400 hours: if our new development contract is signed, i get a raise. we expect the contract to be signed today
• 1700 hours: all the plastic on my computer has been replaced, so it feels like a new machine. the loud noise the cpu is making should be avert when they install a new cpu on friday

for many years, i've mainly worn white gold-toe socks. I also have black gold-toes and fancy running/hiking/whatever socks. I spend most of my life in the white cotton gold toes, but cotton socks are quite mediocre for athletic activities. so much for häagen-dazs. i don't pay that much for ice cream for it to taste like pure sugar. pure sugar doesn't cost 4 bucks a pint. i don't get it. the stuff they sell in europe is good. i don't think the flavors in my freezer were so damn sweet even 6 months ago. i can't live only on godiva though. what am i to do?
