O.K. everyone, and I mean everyone.  Once again Steve asked out a woman while at Rainbow, we exchanged e-mails with plans of getting together at the SunnySideUp cafe'.  So on the count of three everyone cross their fingers.  One . . Two . . Three.  Thanks hopefully that will shift my Karmic balance.

Sat, Sun, and Monday, I was in a slump.  Various things conspired to make me down:  romantic disapointment, friends mother in hospital and the doctors aren't very hopeful, reading A Thousand Splendid Suns which is a very painful book to read and honestly no where near as good as The Kite Runner, current unavailability of my friends, and money ( Read more... )

Still in a bit of a slump.  Dissappointed that I'm not infatuated with this woman that I met through MySpace.  I mean friends is wonderful, just I hoped it be more.  Oh well moving on; at least it's beautiful out.

Went to see The Bucket List with Shawn, my on-line friend last night.  Good movie but not really a comedy though there were funny parts.  Unfortunately there's no chemistry betwixt us.  I'll get over that, besides it's good having another friend.  I n good news I managed to but a set of Yamaha 5" 2-way speakers, and only pay 50$ out of my pocket.  ( Read more... )

Finished The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho the other day.  Pretty good book though it didn't reach my top ten.  Now I'm reading Crashing Through a true story of risk, adventure and the man who dared to see, written by Robert Kurson.  I'm about 2/3 the way through and I only started Saturday evening.

My new friend came down with a severe cold Saturday so our plans for Sunday got scrapped till next weekend.  I was fine with that at first but by last night it got me down.  It didn't help that I was in the neighborhood where my ex used to live when everything was fun/adventurous/exciting.  I'm better today though ( Read more... )

Aside from the usual gaming: Tues, Wens, Sat; I painted.  Now to fill the background, since I start work at 7:00 A.M. 5 days a week my normal bedtime is 10:00 P.M.   So Friday night at 9:15 I picked up a brush and didn't stop painting until 12:45!  Within this three hours I decided that one of my pieces that I put away was indeed done.  I did some ( Read more... )

 Yesterday at work I did in fact get together with one of my friends from MySpace.  Very cool person We'll at least be friends but more it's not unlikely.  YEAH!
