The phrase "Post-9/11 World" needs to be abolished. At this point, the September 11th attacks (and deaths) are largely just points of propaganda, reasons to keep heads bowed and the supposed "world" that is defined by that day is one that's far too easy to scare -- maybe even eager to be scared, so as to have their fears validated ( Read more... )

I found the photobucket account I'd created to hold all of my Pictures of the Day from last year (!!!) -- which means you can expect to see the photos from January, March and February (not in that order... maybe) of last year innnnnn about a day or so. WOO!

Since I stopped doing my "Picture of the Day," I've really let go, photo-wise. I don't even know where my battery charger is anymore! And it's days like these -- when we get that rare bit of snow -- that I'd like to know where it's stolen off to...
