Will do, some time soon! I wish I'd had the time to snag a camera before my journey. At least I can show folks what's around here. (Bats!! Bats!!)

I hear you, woman. You got that independence and sense of place way ahead of me. This is my first, and it may be small, but the feeling is striking. I've never felt it before.

And I am definitely digging it. :D

Thank you, CD. :) I'm so glad you made it to the party, too!!

LJ's gonna be my primary tool for keeping track o' folks, and giving them a way of tracking me. One downside to this gig is it makes for some really long days, and that makes typical methods of reaching me difficult.

Congrats on finally getting your own home. It's got to be a nice feeling, and one I've missed. I haven't even actually had a rented, borrowed, or otherwise, home since March. Good luck with everything!

Jeezopete, man!! Are you alright? What's the story?

Oh, I'm fine. :) I took a job as a field archaeologist, which means I've been living in skanky motels since March, all across the eastern and central US. I quit a few weeks ago, and have been staying at my parents' place in Orlando until I move to England next month for grad school. Still have -no- idea what'll be happening a year from now. I imagine it'll still be half a decade minimum before I have a proper home, even rented, again.

Ye Gods! At least you've been living an adventure, man! What sort of field work were you doing, and why'd you quit? The adventure continues, too....England!! That is too damn cool, and I'm envious. What are you going to be studying?

Goddamn that's a great story. I am SO glad to hear that you're well and most importantly, happy. Can't wait til you have an hour or so to spare for the squawkbox. Lemme know when's good as I know you're not working from home any more.

Many pats to the kids and big hugs to you, dear friend. I've missed you a lot more than you know.

I've missed you too, my man. Let's gab on Saturday!! We've got six weeks or more to catch up with. I'll be about the homestead from nine am on. (I'll let you know if any changes take place over email.) Pups will get some extra-special scritchin' for thee.
