i have not the energy for words, as of yet.

i will not keep it top secret when i have successfully given birth. even as badly as i would currently like to. that is all for now.

our marriage is now "legal", as of yesterday. as far as we are concerned, our anniversary is still january 14th, 2007, and that to us is when WE consider ourselves "officially united" and expect our loved ones to honor and view that as such, as well. we did, however, inject a bit of our personalities into making it legal, so it's worth noting ( Read more... )

today my brother should have been 41, it's been one year today since i discovered he was gone forever.

i'm. NOT. READY!!!

baby is currently head down! 2 visits to a chiro specializing in baby turning, 2 visits to an acpuncturist/LMP who specializes in mayan abdominal massage, lots of funky positioning, chasing her around with an ice pak, tons of begging, and she finally found her way down. she's backwards (occiput posterior), i can deal with that, potentially long ( Read more... )

it seems i can't ever time my significant life events to the convenience and availability of others. *grump*

we had a bit of a scare 3 weeks ago. my new midwife discovered my cervix was shortened (incompetent, the medical term is!) and sent me to the hospital to get on electronic fetal monitoring to make sure it was not indicative of pre-labor, and lo and behold i was indeed having regular contractions (irritable uterus, they call that one). i had to sit ( Read more... )
