I'm hoping that they'll be able to find a way to get my pulse down without coming off the amitriptyline - like maybe taking beta-blockers on top of it or something. I can't be going back to daily migraines, I'm just about getting used to actually having a life again!
Besides, the next couple of months are likely to be pretty stressful, and the attacks of crazy I've had in the past when I've just missed my meds for one night were scary enough... I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the GP says, but yeah, I'm pretty reluctant to be changing anything too quickly :/
I actually had visions of you in the waiting room for an hour and whipping them out for a laugh, but hey. s'all good. :P
Yes, expect heart rate to go up further when they start sending you back and forth from hospital to GP because nobody wants to take responsibility in case something goes wrong. That'll be fun. :/

It did make me chuckle that they gave me a gown to put on, but then asked me to take it off again pretty much straight away...
