Oh dear...
Pyjama Room have launched their Autumn/Winter collection.
If I loved them before (and I did, to the extent that I insisted that Andrew bought me a set - in their sale I might add, so quite reasonably priced - as an early birthday present, did the actual buying it part myself so that it was exactly right, and have been wearing it to death ( Read more... ) -

The answer to all my troubles?
This (see "Good Morning, Madam") is quite possibly the most inspired product I've ever happened across.
Ordinarily I hate alarm clocks, they are my natural enemy - but an alarm clock that wakes you up with any of 150 Jeeves-esque phrases voiced by Stephen Fry? It may just change my mind.

Andrew left for Detroit this morning and is due to arrive there in an hour or so, I believe. He'll be there for a month. It's crappy. I hate him going away enough at the best of times, but right now I need it less ( Read more... ) -

General update-y-ness
+ Had a new carpet fitted this morning in the living room. It's just a short-term measure to cover up the splintery floorboards which would have undoubtedly failed our health and safety check whenever it happens, but I'm liking the effect.
