So Andrew and I decided we were going to print our wedding invitations ourselves to
a) make sure we got exactly what we wanted, and
b) save some money.
A simple enough task one might think.
Wrong.
Bought nice 250gsm card, discovered it wouldn't fit through existing printer; fair enough.

Well, I really didn't expect the last 24 hours to go like that...
Agnes, our ginger pig (on the left in the pic, taken almost a year ago), miscarried last night. Could have been far worse, after a clean-up she's been reasonably cheerful, and is eating/drinking normally. We took her to the vet this morning to be checked out, and he couldn't see ( Read more... ) -

I have to say, the name is a huge let down...of the film, that is, not my daemon... fucking golden compass indeed *scowl*
However, it looks pretty good in the trailer, and my second cousin's in it (I have no idea who he plays, no-one big I'm sure, but still :P ) Anyway, a nice excuse to read the books again :)
