Suggest some song lyrics or a poem or piece of prose which talks about blocks of flats, high rises or social housing in any form. Can be romanticizing, deprecating, whatever. All Google is giving me is "Sheffield, Sex City" which despite having great lyrics, isn't really helping with the project. There must be more!

i believe in something, but i don't know what it is. it's either the future or the end. it's every reason that i do or don't get out of bed.
we live in the unhappy shadows of skyscrapers, freight trains and malls, to a soundtrack of nuclear warheads and bombs. addicted to power, addicted to authority, money, and success ... so far gone, without our addictions, do we even know how to live?.."

"What I want
Is a room with a three-bar fire, like the one you had before,
When you were poor and i just liked you more"
There are a few modern lovers lyrics about houses and things too....
Hospital.
"You live in modern apartments
Well I've even got scared once or twice
Last time I walked down your street
There were tears in my eyes"
Old World.
"I see the '50's apartment house
It's bleak in the 1970's sun
But I still love the '50's
And I still love the old world"
There must be a million hefner songs about this too
