Finals week may be one of the most terrible experiences of my life. Thankfully, I officially only have my biology final left (Friday) and a presentation on my fifteen page paper on cerebral asymmetry (Monday) and then I CAN GO HOME

Okay, during rush, be yourself. Seriously, no matter what it will be fine. I was a huge mass of nerves during rush and it turned out fine. I was ecstatic about where I ended up.
I miss my sorority sisters so much now that I've graduated, but I'm so happy you're excited about it all.
I'm still afraid being myself won't be enough, though I suppose if it isn't enough, then that isn't where I want to be.
Do you still keep in touch with your sorority sisters? And which sorority were you in again? Sorry, I think you told me, but Greek letters float in and out of my head like crazy. It took me about fifteen days for the name AOTT to stick in my head.
I'm an Alpha Chi Omega... A=alpha X=chi and that horseshoe looking one is Omega...
And if being yourself isn't enough then its definitely not the place for you. I still keep in touch with a lot of my sisters, but then again, I only graduated in May of 2004, so I'm not that far out. But I do see a lot of them pretty often, considering the closest one is 20 minutes from my home.
When you're in a sorority, you're part of a group of girls, your "sisters". They all live together, have parties, dinners, get-togethers, make floats and banners, etc. And they say that once you're a sister, you're always a sister. You have connections with sisters all over the world, and apparently, if an alumnus sees that you're in the sorority she was in, you get good internships and special treatment. It's pretty much the coolest thing ever because you have this close-knit group of friends that'll (hopefully) be your friends for the rest of your life.
I can't wait for Tuesday either! I just finished my biology exam this afternoon, so I just have to get through this weekend, do my presentation, pack up and then I'm home free!!!
