I don't know. Though I share quarters with a few of them, I have not been able to fathom the minds of idiots.

I was burned in a battle. The wound damaged my vocal chords somewhat, but that and the scar it left behind are all that marks its occurrence.

Sir, it is dangerous for a burn around the neck to be left untended; infections may cause further damage to the vocal cord or the surrounding organs and veins. It would be safer to seek some treatment for such a wound...

Perhaps it is. However, I am unable to appreciate it.

I am not truly alive, so my body does not react as those of others might. It has healed itself to the best of its ability.

Were I capable of curiosity, I think I would wonder why the injuries of a stranger matter to you.
