Bert’s cheeks were pink. Gerard had noticed this as he’d stared at him across the parking-lot bonfire on a crisp post-concert night. It seemed impossible for Gerard to pull his gaze away from the younger man. Though Bert did not notice him, Gerard noticed everything about Bert. He always did. Abruptly, Bert paused, mischievous blue eyes meeting Gerard’s gaze. Gerard blushed. Bert smirked and seductively pushed a sticky roasted marshmallow between his lips, licking the remnants from his fingers in an explicit sort of way. Gerard bit his lip and raised an eyebrow. This was definitely worth noticing.
