I wish I was local to you. >_< We're having cupcakes with our game tonight but I am sure they are not as super delishus. I am kind of crazy for lemon.

Oh, dude, I wish you were local to me, too! For so many reasons.

Maybe next raffle will be for cookies? I think cookies would ship better than cupcakes. The lemon cookies that are popular in my family are awfully delicate -- thin, crisp wafer cookies -- but maybe a shortbread cookie with lemon glaze?

so if a bunch of us Arizonans bid and pitched in and say bought you a ticket for delevery... I hear there is a nice basement for you to stay in while your here. but I think you should bring your baking stuff and bake them here. ya thats the ticket. then we can bid on cupcakes all the time.

My Mom is trying to kill me, dude.
Last night, I got home and the house smelled all wonderful -- she had made her little bitty shortbreads that are the bestest and most wonderful cookies, ever.

Tonight? Got home and the woman made her awesome, buttery thumbprint cookies ... but with lime curd in the little 'thumbprint', instead of jam like most people I know use.

I'm DYIN' over here! She makes the best. damn. cookies.
