Hiking today was so beautiful! I am kicking myself that I didn't take any pictures. It was sunny and warm and, despite how pale I am, I must have applied enough sunscreen to block the rays of 1,000 suns because I didn't get burned! Here I am trying to write the last paper of my undergraduate career and I've gotten more than one text message from at least six different people in the last 8 hours! How is a girl supposed to concentrate?!? It's an incentive to hurry-up-and-finish I suppose. But still. Geez, people. Leemealone. In the nicest way possible, of course. :)

It is currently 90 degrees and going to be 93 by this afternoon. Makes me want to have a nap.

I have for the first time in my life started a fashion trend! Thursday I wore a baseball cap to work. I received many compliments on my look and so Friday I again wore a baseball cap but because I was scheduled to work in the cafe I was forced to remove it as it was not work-related (the cafe has a far more strict dresscode than the sales floor). I had my first exam today, which, by the way, I believe I aced, but instead of feeling wonderful and accomplished, I am breaking out and have developed pink eye. I look and feel like a mess. And I have to go to work tomorrow and be pleasant--I'm determined never to call out sick because everyone else does frequently and I want to distinguish myself
