Blargh. How did it get to be 4:30 already? I'm still paying for staying up till the wee hours the last four nights reading Jack/Daniel. Like I needed another pairing obsession and 8 seasons of Stargate SG-1 to catch up on. I don't even find Richard Dean Anderson that appealing, but put him in the hands of a good writer (and Daniel Jackson) and ( Read more... )

I really need to find those M&M's. For research purposes.

And here's the Richard Dean Anderson *I* used to love...

Ahahah! After seeing him with the military-style haircut on Stargate, that looks so strange. But still hot. *gulps ice water*

CHocolate keeps you awake at night???

Wow, even three or four cups of coffee can't keep me awake at night...:-D

It's the sugar. Any kind of sugar in the evening will keep me awake. Ironically, I don't think coffee would!

Sugar is the EVIL!! I've been er...again, more or less purging myself of sugar the last few days. And I feel so much better just after 2 days...I mean, I have eaten fruit, but I mean the sugary icky for you sugar stuff...

However, our end of year party is next Wednesday and there shall pizza and rejoicing and cake and cupcakes and all kinds of utterly horrible stuff for me. And I will indulge since I didn't at the holiday party at all...

We had a pizza feed at work today to celebrate some deliveries. It was after the giant chocolate chip cookie that I started to feel really yucky. You're being so good, I need to follow your example. Try eating some protein for breakfast on party day, it might help stabilize your blood sugar for the day (says she who never eats breakfast on work days).

I find Richard so much more attractive now that he's older and hotter. I tend to go for older men, anyway. *rowr*

Where are you finding J/D fic? I found this great fic community stargateslash and this site jackslashdaniel. Not that you need any more fic. Heh.

I hate big bags of candy. I tend to either eat too much, or add it to my horde of sweets that I can't bring myself to throw out.

Hey, he's way too old for you. He's even older than me! ;-)

I've been starting from jackslashdaniel, just working backwards through the posts with fic links. I think that could keep me busy (and overheated) for a while.

I just tossed *last year's* Easter malt balls a few weeks ago. :-D

What's 29 years where hothothot lust love is involved? *giggle*

Leave it to me to find the website but not the LJ community. *facepalm* On their website there's a nifty search engine and I've been reading all the NC17 fics first. LOL

For Easter I gave out all of the previous year's candy in huge handfuls to the trick-or-treaters. Heh. I also started giving what was left of this year's Easter candy to R's irritating friends. It's not bad and I don't have to feel guilty for throwing it away. *g*

Yeah, in fantasy land, anything goes. But in this fandom I have to try to keep the visuals vague, because every once in a while I still go "Jack kissing Daniel? Yuck!" Did you see Jack kissing Sam last Monday on that "Been There, Done That"-type episode? Eek, het! It was hot.

I followed a link to the archive website but didn't bookmark it, so it's easier to go through the community. I've read some non-NC17 fics, but they leave me feeling like I missed the payoff. *snort*

Some candy actually goes stale once you open those big bags. Do you think I would have thrown it out if it was still good? ;-)

Hee hee, you're so cute, LilyPip. But it's still all your fault. ;-)

I know you don't hold it against me, not when that chocolate melts in your mouth . . .

Mmm, dark chocolate. It's almost an insult to have that M&M candy coating over it, but it does make for an efficient delivery system. *Too* efficient - I still feel over-sugared, and I took the bag in to work this morning and left it there.

I'll have to think of an appropriate payback thank you.

Are you still up for that Howard Shore concert in July? Tickets go on sale next Monday.

Ah!!!Akk! Argh!

I'M READING JACK/DANIEL, TOO! Rich and I are watching season 1 of SG-1 on DVD and we've been staying up way too late every night. OMG, Cathy, how do things like this happen? I've been sucked in like a big sucking thing does...

Who are you reading? Eeeek!

Ahahah, I saw your name on jackslashdaniel but I didn't know how long you'd been reading. I need to get that DVD set - I keep catching random reruns on SciFi, so I've seen bits and pieces of many seasons but no coherent arcs.

Shoot, who have I been reading? It was Biblio last night, and Illyra(?). Like I told Wymsie, I've been working backwards through the community posts and following links - I'm very random. Haven't really read that many yet, because so many of the stories are *long*. Makes for good character development, but very bleary eyes.

OK, I'm just a total fangirl here and I've only watched Season 1, but this is FINALLY one show where the aired series actually lives up to the fanfic (and possibly exceeds it). Seriously, in most of my fandoms the fic was much better than the source. In some I've read (Sentinel!), the aired show was total crap and how it inspired good fic was beyond my ken ( ... )

I had to go check and see, because I've *thought* about posting about SG-1 before, but it doesn't look like I did. wymsie may be the culprit - I've gotten into some SG-1 discussions with her in her posts, and she mentioned the fanart, which I think is what tipped me over the edge.

I've been aware of the show for years and watched the occasional episode, but it never grabbed me until this year. Maybe I only saw Daniel-free episodes before. *pets Daniel* *gets distracted* *pets some more* Ahem, anyway, some of the Farscape crew will be on next season, so I'll be watching that while trying to backfill all the seasons I missed. I'm already spoiled for most of the major events, but I still want to see everything from the start.

I liked the movie mostly for James Spader. At this point I'd be hard-pressed to choose between Spader!Daniel and SG-1!Daniel - I think wymsie proposed a threesome between both of them and Jack, and that gave me a happy moment... *combusts*

Addiction is the right word for this. I'm off to look for more fic.
