Miss Lucy-angel got her wings today. It was a beautiful day, and we lay in the sun for a while. She asked for a last treat of tuna and chicken, but didn't really eat. Then we went to the vet, and it was peaceful and quick. She was beautiful and loving right to the end, and I'm thankful for 12 fun years together. Thanks to all of you, too, for ( Read more... )

I am sorry for your loss. I know how much a part of a family your kitty can become, having lost my Tiger of 20 years not that long ago. *huggles* Hopefully, your Lucy and Tiger are in a happy place together.

Thank you, I hope so too. *hugs you and Tiger* I was looking forward to seeing you again at ORC, but life had other plans. I'm so thankful I was able to be here for her.

Thanks. I'm glad I have another kitty to distract me and purr in my arms. I don't know if she'll miss Lucy or just miss all the food she got to steal, the little piggy. The diet starts tonight!

I am so, so sorry. The end sounded sweet and peaceful. I am so glad that she had you being there for her, and with her, right to the end. I am going to go hug on my kitties now and think of your Lucy being so loved and how she is now free of pain.

Thank you. The house feels empty right now and Cleo is confused and hiding. But I know Lucy's in a happy place.

I'm so sorry - I know how that feels. But she had you to love her right up until the end, and she must have had a wonderful life.

Somehow she knew that I would have this time off to ease her through as best I could. She was a special kitty. Thanks for the kind thoughts.
