*hugs you and GH* She is looking amazingly well, but still in need of plenty of positive thoughts to assure that the surgery will have fixed everything. The LJ community is such a wonderful channel for healing energy - who'd have thought when we were first starting out?

You're welcome! I'm good, and very grateful for health and healers. I gripe a lot about my job these days, but then I look around and wonder what I'm whining about. Hope you and Rich are well too. *hugs*

I'm feeling a little whiny about my job, too, but I know I'm very lucky. Eh, even the best job is still work. I love my house, but I'm not thrilled with upkeep and the never-ending chores.

Though I suppose you didn't leave your garden a big mess like I did...

Rich is still recovering from surgery last month. Right now, I think we're at the stage where I have to stop babying him and make him start doing things again. He's still all "but maybe I shouldn't do that..." which was a good attitude for the first month, but now is probably very wrong. And I'm great (other than being mean to poor Rich). Feeling good and looking forward to Thanksgiving.

If I don't "talk" to you again, have a lovely holiday.

Oh no, I didn't see this comment until now! I was trying to figure out if Lora has commented anywhere recently, because she hasn't returned phone messages or emails. *frets* We (J9, Jo and I) are hoping to do something for her birthday this weekend.

I *am* feeling much better, thanks for asking. I was feeling so crappy that any improvement is better.

I talked to Lora on the phone yesterday. The surgery fixed the pain in her right arm, but now her left arm is numb and hurts from them tugging on it to separate the vertebrae. She said it's getting better, but it seems very slow, poor thing.

You're too good to me. I'm behind on everything for Christmas. At least I was still able to get some good deals on hotels in San Diego. I'll be visiting my family and hopefully seeing shirebound!
