Moving again
After much blood, sweat and tears, I am finally done with grad school. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a job here in Oregon but was offered an AMAZING position in a hospital in Fresno. Which is awesome and terrible all at the same time. Pros are that it is exactly what I want to do and medical positions are difficult to come by as a SLP CF. I ( Read more... ) -
A quick update about my life
I am trying to post more but I think I am just terrible at journaling. I started my internship a week ago. It's AMAZING and so tiring. I am working in acute care in a hospital. I am working there 40 hours a week and taking three classes. I am kicking myself about the three classes at the moment. At least, I am seeing the end of grad school. Just ( Read more... ) -
In Spring Quarter Recovery
Finally done with this quarter and I gotta say it was super intense and very exhausting. My classes were insanely challenging and so were my clients in clinic. I finally finished my last final which was super crazy and basically turned my brain into mush. I have a week off before starting summer quarter and clinic again. Done with classes!
Yay!!! With this quarter at least. I have one week off then head into Spring quarter which will be super intense. Four classes plus clinic. Whew! Here's hoping I survive -
Happy Belated Everything
Seriously, I suck. Grad school has killed all my free time. The first quarter was the most brutal between classes, clinic and my grad assistant position I barely had time to breathe. But I officially finished my first quarter of grad school. Yay! I'm grateful and enjoying it but holy crap! This stuff is intense. -
Grad School starting soon
I'm going to be starting my first day of grad school in a few days. Preparing for this has been a bit nuts. Since I am in a health science and will be working with adults and children, I've had to get a background check, fingerprints and all sorts of paper work done. Fun times. Moving
I am moving out of my apartment. Finally! I am gearing up to move from Seattle to Portland for grad school. Everything needs to be ready to move out on Saturday. I am desperately trying to get everything ready and packed. The question I keep asking myself as I pack "Why do I have so much crap???". So I am not much of a poster. School and moving has been keeping me busy. But holy crap! You turn your back on your LJ for one second and the suspicious weird comments start rolling in. Only the Ring Finger Knows
Holy crap! Only the Ring Finger Knows Vol. 5 is finally going to be published in English. Woo hoo! All I can say is about freaking time. I have been losing hope on ever seeing this. Here's hoping that it doesn't get delayed.
