we need to focus on uniting all the people that are getting screwed in order to help all of us.
yup! i think we're saying the same things with different words. we absolutely need to join together to heal differences and build relationships. which is what i meant by:
In the end, there is no one person or group of persons we can prosecute for this crime. It's counterintuitive and harmful to our larger struggle for universal liberty.
because i think we're all in this together. we must be hip to the insidious nature of oppression and challenge ourselves to examine the ways our own prejudice can manifest in our daily lives.

oh, god. yeah. what blows is i'll probably be voting democratic for the next decade or so (until there's a shift in our two party system? maybe? am i being too hopeful here?) but by and large the democratic party can suck my gay dick. obama... i think he works within the constraints of the title "democrat." he's probably going to bump up against many of his fellow party members in the next four years, and i look forward to watching it all play out.
