So, I saw Girl Talk today and pretty much died of thrashdancing on stage/sweating/having my ass grabbed/sweating. And it was awesome.

So, today I almost deleted my lj, but instead, I just deleted the majority of my old posts. I don't really use this anymore. I know this sounds dramatic, but it was really weird going over my old entries and seeing how much I used to like UIL and the Chronicle, like it was all a game or something. Tony Wilson, Factory Records creator and one of the most influential members of the 1980s Madchester scene, died today of cancer. He was responsible for letting the world onto Joy Division, New Order, Happy Mondays, the Durutti Column, and lots of other great bands, and his life was memorialized in the movie 24-Hour Party People.

So sad.
