Yeah, it was from before we got here--there were a harsh string of killings, and people within the community were allegedly brainwashed into committing them. The little girl named Lucy Smith restored order within seconds, as if nothing had happened.

Yeah, it's pretty damn foul--all we can hope to do in order to prevent more problems like that is to find out how to get out of here--or, at least, to stop whoever's orchestrating this town.

Well...I heard that in that Westport place, there were pictures of her all over the church and on every page of those Bibles...and there were chalk drawings of her too. Almost like people were worshipping her. Like a god. But that's all I know...

I see... Do you know if someone brought those back, by chance? The bibles, I mean. I've heard there were a few pieces of evidence people brought back, and I've seen a lot of them save for the bibles.

We were really trying to reach Lucy, we thought we might be able to get to know her better. But I was only able to talk to Mrs. Smith and her son interupted her. He refused to let me speak to his sister and warned me to stay away "for my own sake".

...Right. Lucy has to be important--she's just gotta be. Those church drawings must refer to her, and if she's capable of 'resetting' an event then she's worth looking into.

That Billy kid might be hard to work around, though.

I don't want to make any promises I can't keep... I've already done that before--but I will say I'll do my best and won't intentionally run into any dangerous situation I can't handle alone.
