So last night when I went to sleep there was no snow at all. 8 hours later, I wake up and there's already at least 3 inches of snow on the ground and it's pouring and blowing like mad. I look at the road going by my house and there's hardly any tracks in the snow, nevermind any kind of plowing. Like I'm going to drive anywhere in that!

..for Denver is forecast to get yet more snow in the run-up to Christmas. Even though we got almost no snow last year, this is the second or third storm thus far this year. Whee!

I made this map some time ago with the help of Ed Knittel who made the CTA/Chicago equivalent. With the recent opening of the southeast light rail line, I took the opportunity to ride for free on the trains last Saturday.
