As a child, I had one of those families that gathered every year at my Grandmother's house. My mother's family was large, Catholic and agricultural, a double whammy in the midwest. I have cousins that I still don't know the names of and wouldn't recognize on the street

I have similar memories about Christmas at my Grandma's. Best memories of my childhood. I wish I could recapture that but it'll never be quite the same.

I think I am going to make a new ornament like it, but definitely not a dog. Maybe a green one as close to the one I had and a new one that looks like Dusty. I was thinking about making some that look like the horses at the place I volunteer too just for fun.
