Witches and wizards very much ride broomsticks where I come from. What else would they ride? You can't just assume the Floo network will connect you everywhere you need to go, nor can you use Portkeys all the time.

Cars. Usually they use cars. Sometimes they'll get their whitelighters to orb them someplace, but... you know, still mostly cars.

And what in the hell is a whitelighter?

Thank Merlin your speciality is magical creatures, and not magical methods of transportation. Though I've always known magical creatures were a right crock.

I believe in them just fine. Hard not to when you've been mauled by a Hippogriff at thirteen. It's still an absolute tragedy that my father's intention to get it put down never went through. [and he's dating one. That's not important, though.]
