SGA: Paradise Lost

Two weeks after they come back through the Stargate for the last time, Rodney finds John asleep in his living room with Paradise Lost spread open on his torso. He lifts it gently (John does not wake, anyone else entering into General Sheppard's personal space would have been on the floor, elbow twisted into a surprisingly firm grip for a fifty-six year old, even if he is military) and sees the page crease on page two of the introduction. Rodney sighs loudly and John opens one clear eye.

Hah, thanks to the glory of SGA fandom, it's almost certainly already been written, so your evil tempty ways must be resisted before I just rehash a bunch of already-written tropes...

Thankyou, this is an awesome challenge. I'd love to read your entry on a version of it, perhaps if I finagle ten random book titles? Heh.
