Hahahaha. Ahaha. HA. Hahaha Ahaha Haha Aha Ha. I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you. I swear. Its just that... uh... I may or may not have quit my job as well. Er... ah, who am I kidding. I have worked a grand total of 4 hours during the oh-so-wonderful year of 2008. I went in, worked half my shift, went to lunch, clocked back in and quit. Then I bought $60 worth of candles and other decorative items while my discount still worked, and left. So... I can understand where you're coming from. About the "batshit" part. Now, I'm not really sure how things work in your family, but you might be surprised that people can be a lot more understanding that you'd think. Maybe not at first, but in general I think people can relate. I was expecting to be yelled at and called stupid, etc, not exactly for quitting per se, but for not having another job before I did so (with no notice). But actually, everyone was really supportive, and didn't pressure me at all. I spent the last month sitting around doing a lot of nothing, and reading my way through the
