This is a story I wrote an illustrated about Elouise. It is a work in progress and these are my preliminary roughs. There are a few illustrations that I plan on completely changing. There are also some minor changes I want to make, like giving her horns (for the bull in a china shop) and giving her wings (for the cute bug). I figured I would

I'm sorry I didn't respond to this sooner. I meant to wait to respond until I had time to really give it some thought. I love the idea! Dressing up the dog in different outfits is a wonderful premise. However, my suggestion is to give the text a little more energy, especially if it is meant as a children's book. Try looking at the text on the first and last pages specifically. There is a slight disconnect between the opening question and the final statement. As much as I like the cows, I think a stronger ending may be a picture of Eloise as herself again with supporting text. (Just a suggestion.)
