Can't say this on FB due to presence of family there.

It really hurts when I invite my family to a gathering and they don't show up because they ASSUME it's all about religion. But of course I'm expected to attend all of their things.

So I sit there waiting for my loved ones while the popsicles melt, and no-one comes...

So... My job. My boss put me on 30 days written warning. I have one more week to go, the week after that I'll be on vacation. Will I still have a job afterward? Only God knows. Aaaugh!!!! Why do men have to be so confusing and disturbing??? The divorce was final on July 6th, why does he call today and tell me he loves me, and then get upset when I'm not going to be available on the one or two days he'll be in the area in October?!

I'm here in California. Have a job -- got offered a fantastic job after being here only 1 week! Full benefits, good pay, promotion track position. Husband still on East coast, and refuses to consider moving here, where my kids and I are all settling in so beautifully and making good friends. *sighs*

I'm kind of in shock... I thought Canada was off the table, his current employer declined to improve his contract to keep him, so the choice came down to Indiana vs. Georgia. Well, turns out he got a call on Friday, a company in Ajax ON wants to interview him. He agreed and will meet them on Tuesday.
