I've heard rumors there's a "For Sale" sign on Beth's.

The building is for sale, not the Cafe. However if all the smokers would finally return it would definitely help with our job security issues.

If y'all are seriously having income issues, I'll make it a point to go eat at Beth's more often. That place is one of the few spots on the planet that reaffirms my faith in mankind. Only half joking about that.

oh crap... is beth's in financial trouble? what the heck happened to all the non-smokers who said they'd eat there if not for the smoke??? sheesh...

if something happens to beths, i will die. the ocean will not hold all my tears. i may jump off a bridge. there will be a rip in the time/space continuum!

So it's been about six months, and I'm curious as to whether business finally picked up again at Beth's. I still go there pretty often, but the walls are bare for August. Do you have an update?

The building Beth's is in was for sale, but FNOG (Beth's owner) bought it, so the cafe isn't going anywhere. However, the smoking ban has hurt biz, so help support Beth's by going in more.

Get over it, I lived through California's smoking ban only to move up here and have to live through it again. Business will pick up as soon as "the smokers" get tired of protesting the ban (read that as trowing a tantrum) and start supporting the business's they love.

If Beth's (or any other business) goes under due to the smoking ban, only "the smokers" are to blame....

Shame on you for not supporting Beth's because your mad at the politicians!!!!!

I have been going there and leaving huge tips for years, along with my friends. We still do the same. Support Beths? Heck, I helped pay for some of the waitresses college.
