It's so frustrating to start out being accustomed to being ignored, only to have people pay attention to you, only to be ignored later. An argument for my earlier reticence to connect with people, I suppose. Also a case where I am quite the hypocrite, I imagine.

Somehow, seeing that she has "defriended" me on all the online places where once we were linked together makes it all come back again. I've never read anything by Ursula K. Le Guin. I think that means you have more science fiction 'street cred' than I do, if one can apply the concept (perhaps the concept, but definitely not the name) to science fiction.
